In the case of food hypersensitivities, it may be helpful to switch to a food with one single, specific source of animal protein. SANIMED Intestinal contains insect protein as its only source of intact animal protein. This helps reduce intolerances to specific ingredients and nutrients. This dry food contains easily digestible proteins and moderate amounts of fat, which stimulate the absorption of nutrients. What’s more, the vitamin E and fish oil boost immunity. When using this food, it is important to not give your cat any extra treats, such as snacks, cat treats or table scraps. This may cause the digestive problems to return.

Follow the feeding schedule in the table, but adjust the feeding ration as needed to maintain your cat’s ideal weight. Divide your cat’s daily food intake over 2 or more meals a day. Monitor your cat’s physical condition and make sure your cat always has access to fresh, clean drinking water.
