SANIMED Dental is a complete animal feed for adult and senior dogs, specially developed to reduce plaque.
Dental problems are common in dogs and are a major cause of unpleasant mouth odor, among other things. The formation of plaque and tartar are the main causes of dental problems. If plaque is not removed, it can develop into tartar. This occurs when calcium from saliva binds to plaque, causing it to harden. These successive layers of tartar and plaque can lead to gum inflammation, which is painful.
Dental problems can be largely prevented by regular dental care and special dental care nutrition. SANIMED Dental is a complete feed for adult and senior dogs, specially developed to reduce plaque. The larger kibble and the special shape and structure of the kibble require the dog to chew more. This ensures that the teeth are cleaned during chewing. Calcium is one of the main components of tartar. The addition of sodium tripolyphosphate, which binds calcium, inhibits the formation of tartar. Sodium tripolyphosphate also inhibits bacterial growth. Antioxidants such as vitamins C and E have been added to support the immune system.
