Food sensitivity or intolerance is an unfavorable reaction to certain ingredients and nutrients in food. Dogs with food sensitivities often have skin disorders, such as redness and itching. But they may also suffer from gastrointestinal problems, such as vomiting and diarrhea. The right diet can alleviate these problems.
SANIMED Hypoallergenic DR is a complete dietary pet food formulated to reduce food sensitivities and intolerances in dogs. Because it contains only one intact source of animal protein (duck) and hypoallergenic sources of vegetable protein, this sausage helps reduce undesired reactions to food. What’s more, the omega-3 fatty acids help reduce skin inflammation, itching and redness. The easily digestible protein and starch provide gastrointestinal relief. The moisture content of this sausage is only 63%, which is far less than canned food, with its average moisture content of 80%. That means you don’t need to give your dog as much of this sausage per day.
SANIMED Hypoallergenic DR is available as both a dry food and as sausages. These two formulations are fully interchangeable, without any loss of effectiveness. You can give your dog this sausage as a complete food or as a treat.

Feed your dog this food only or this food in combination with SANIMED Hypoallergenic DR dry food. Consult your veterinarian before use. Use the feeding schedule in the table as a guide. The recommended period of use for this food is 3 to 8 weeks. When the intolerance symptoms disappear, you can simply keep using this food. Monitor your dog’s physical condition and make sure your dog always has access to fresh, clean drinking water.
