The kidney contains more than one million small filters called “renal corpuscles”. These renal corpuscles filter the blood and remove waste products. Kidney failure occurs when the number of corpuscles decreases, affecting kidney function. The blood is no longer filtered properly, resulting in additional loss of water, salts and nutrients.

In addition, this food contains a high concentration of fish oil, which is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, improving blood flow to the kidneys and lowering blood pressure. Follow the feeding schedule in the table, but adjust the feeding ration as needed to maintain your dog’s ideal weight. Divide your dog’s daily food intake over 2 or more meals a day. Monitor your dog’s physical condition and make sure your dog always has access to fresh, clean drinking water.
