Feeding recommendations for your puppy
Age range
Small breeds: 4 weeks to 5 months
Medium breeds: 4 weeks to 6 months
Large breeds: 4 weeks to 7 months
After this period, you can switch to SANIMED Junior pet food.
Feeding schedule: SANIMED Puppy
Follow the steps below and the feeding schedule to determine the correct amount of food to give your puppy. This will help keep your young dog healthy.
- Determine your puppy’s age.
- Determine your puppy’s current weight.
- Look in the corresponding columns of the feeding schedule to find the daily recommended ration for your pup.
- Divide the recommended daily ration over 3 meals.
- If your young puppy does not take well to dry food, you can try moistening the kibble with lukewarm water. Is your puppy eating well? Then serve the kibbles dry.
- If your puppy still hasn’t finished the food after 15 minutes, remove the food dish.
Follow the feeding schedule in the table, but adjust the feeding ration as needed to maintain your dog’s ideal weight. Monitor your dog’s physical condition and make sure your dog always has access to fresh, clean drinking water.
